yes. well the name pretty much says it all, I have found there are several levels of game play.
Levels:
1- you play occasionally and enjoy it (obviously everyone is at least this level, i mean for petes sake you are in a forum about it), but its not really somehting you want to do a lot, i mean after all, its just a game.

2- it is perhaps the best RPG you have ever played, you invest at least an hour a day on average into leveling up and slaughtering cliff racers.

3- It is beyond a game, it is the greatest fantasy world of all time, and you cant wait to get more of it.

4- Are obsessed with it, you think about the game all the time, you even join modding teams so that your name will live on next to the great game itself.

5- you live it, sleep it, you wish you could actually zap yourself into that world and live there... you literally have dreams about it

couldnt figure out how to make it into a poll.. sorry about that.

So i am number 5... last night I had a morrowind dream. in an ashlander camp i wentinto a yurt and there was a desk with a daedric longsword, 3 different umbrellla swords (my minds interpretation of umbra... only one of the three actually acted as an umbrella) and a few more daedric things... i picked tem all up but was overencumbered and the ashlanders circled me and were all very scary and i couldnt move... very scary.

I used to be a five... I've had a few dreams about Morrowind. That was a while ago, though, so I don't really remember them. I'm probably a one now. I haven't played it for about a month. But it's not that I don't like it anymore, I just needed a break from it. Plus, I've got Thief now. And that has been my favorite game ever since I was little and discovered it stashed in a pile of other computer games my brother wasn't interested in.

I'm into making the LGNPC mods, so I'd guess number 4.

I would have to say I'm a four. I USED to be a strict 5, I've had several dreams about it, (and even now, when I get myself into a dilemma, I think "man, I so wish I could load a save game." In fact, I locked myself out of a building the other day, and I thought "What I wouldn't give for a scroll of Ondusi's Key!") but I write dialogue for a very wooooooonderful mod now, even though I don't have very much time to play it anymore.
you know what they say about all work and no play...
It's totally not worth the monetary rewards!!!

I'm a a 3. I mean, I love Morrowind. It's one of the best games I've ever played. But I do play other games as well, and I'm not really into mods, at least not yet. I might use mods later. And I've certainly never had any dreams about it either. And I'm not overly obsessed with it.
I wanted to change my sig, but I can't think of anything to change it to :(

I would answer 2, except that you've confused matters with an off-the-wall value judgment on the game ("2- it is perhaps the best RPG you have ever played, you invest at least an hour a day on average into leveling up and slaughtering cliff racers.") When I play, I usually play for a couple of hours, and that's usually every 1-2 days. But I would never call Morrowind the best RPG I've ever played. There are a few titles vying for that distinction, notably:

Planescape: Torment
Ultima VII: The Black Gate
King of Dragon Pass
Hidden Agenda
Baldur's Gate II

That said, I think Morrowind has some elements that go to making a great RPG. Unfortunately, getting individuality into the NPCs and dialog just wasn't possible for the development team this time around. It also lacks a dynamic world: almost nothing changes unless you change it. But the game's damn fun, especially with all the great mods being made.
