real life stats

Post by Skuld »

Ok, so there used to be a site with a little survey at the end of which it would tell you your real life ad&d stats. The host for that site has since become a charging host and the site is no more. Does anyone know if it's moved? There was also a sight that would give you your class, alignment, and race(not sure about race), anyone know where that's gone?

Nope, never heard of it...

And in the future, please don't double post.
You started the same thread in the BG2 forum.

I figured there were people in each respective forum that didn't wander over into the other. I figured double posting would get me a better response, and if it bothers you that much I'll try not to let it happen again. And for prosperities sake here's where it used to be.

How about looking at my thread of 'What kind of D&D character are you'?

As for Rob-hin. He's right. You shouldn't repeat threads in other forums. And yes, most people do check multiple forums.

EDIT: posting a broken link is also disencouraged.
Check it out! One of my earliest, and certainly, more creative threads! :)

About the broken link. I posted it so maybe someone would see the host sight and it would bring back to memory something helpful. And there are also a lot of people who don't browse across multiple forums hence noone in the BG2 forum complaining about a multiple post. On another note I had already been to your thread and that's what made me remember the old survey, but since the site you linked in your thread is for everything but stats I'ms till at a loss.

How about this: Instead of arguing the point for no apparent reason, just say: sorry, didn't realize I shouldn't do that, I won't do it again. And then drop it. Otherwise this whole thread will turn into a back and forth about why you did it, why you shouldn't have done it then you deffinatley won't get an answer to your orgional question.

Or, just keep arguing it and beating that dead horse. Cuz well, maybe you don't have anything better to do with your time!

I don't think you get the point. There WAS a survey which would tell you your stats, but it's gone. This thread was created to try and find out if anyone knew of a similar site or if the original had been moved.

But a charisma of 6 is extremely low... :o
A normal score for any stat is 10.

yeah, I absolutely hate having scores lower than 10. I always, always have scres of atleast 10. There was, I think, only one occasion where one of my characters had an 8 for dexterity.
I wanted to change my sig, but I can't think of anything to change it to :(

Well, with a good DM a low score could be fun.
you can play a clumsy character who tumbles over everything and stuff like that.
Problem is you are weaker in fights so a M has to keep that into account. This way you get coulorfull characters.

With a strength of 14 I'd only asume from the choices that you can benchpress 300 lbs, which is quite impressive. And I just took the test again and my con is actually 15.

Huh? You have no idea ho much 300 lbs is? Well if you're not familiar with the twisted system of british measurement, it's 136 kg.
