First of all, this game is amazing.
Now that thats over, i just got a cool new robe, very happy with myself etc, see the final ending and I can't play my character anymore? I wish I could atleast run around and do some quests I didn't complete.*sigh* I guess I have to make a new character which shouldn't be too bad, but it would be nice play my main one.
Was anyone else dissapointed or is that what you expected?
btw- finished with a LS solider/guardian, anyone reccomend a fun combination or should I just go DS?
Thanks
Finished Xbox version...now what?

Dexman, welcome to the forums. I removed a giant spoiler from your post--please read the sticky thread (in capital letters, to attract attention) created by the site owner, regarding the posting of spoilers. Thanks.
It is kinda crud that you have to start again with no force powers.
This took me by surprise. Why so? In games, you always start in a comparatively low position, so you can rise "to the skies" eventually with your wealth, powers, resources, connections, etc. If you began with more, you'd feel the accomplishment less.

What I meant was, when you are playing KOTOR near the end you are used to having loads of cool powers and sabers etc. And it is kinda weird getting used to playing a begginning character with little ability.
I hope that made sence. I agree with your point that it would be rubbish if you started off as a Jedi Master.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk!

Well - in most linear games it would be difficult to have the player continue adventuring after game has ended.
It would be boring to continue walking around on the small planets with no quests and only small random creatures to fight (in a few places).
This game is not build to be open ended, and thus it naturally has to end.
And they couldn't allow you to restart the game after completion with your level 20 Jedi Master, because that would completely mess up the balance of the game, and what would the fun be to complete the game again on such easy mode.?
There is no reason to neither expect nor want to continue playing a finished character in a game such as this.
