Girlfriend, yes. Wife, no.

1) You play the PC version.

2) You go to Morrowind Summit, and download either the Witchgirl or Laura Craft (that's right) mods. They're both companions, meaning they'll fight alongside you, heal themselves, and both have several quests. If you do as they expect, either will eventually acknowledge she's your girlfriend.

3) Bear in mind, this is cleverly done, but it's just a few quests. Reallife is far more interesting and entertaining than any game that has yet been devised.

Pish posh. I never get to be a nano-augmented superhuman in real life. Nor do I get to use the force to choke people. I don't even get to comman vast legions to do my bidding.

Maybe you should be looking for a genuine relationship, rather than scoring. From long experience, I can tell you that most people prefer to be treated as individuals and human beings, rather than objects. ;)

But if you want to continue this, let's take it to the Speak Your Mind (SYM) forum, where lunacy and/or spam reigns.

Back to subject. I really do like the Laura Croft companion mod. It's extremely sophisticated. She'll follow you around and engage in your fights, improving her skills as she uses them. You can also split the cost for her of purchasing "skill books" (which you never see) that will gain her skill levels. And you can tell her whether to focus in battle on melee, magic, or ranged fighting. Hell, you can even direct her whether to hang around or run when she gets low on health, and she'll instinctively know to pull out a melee weapon if she's using a bow and approached by something unfriendly.

Whoa, I used the wrong term and I apologize. English is not my first language, so I sometimes make clumsy mistakes when using slang, as was the case here. Yes, it is a serious and a long term relationship what I am looking for. Thanks for clarifying what "scoring" means.

Back to the game, I am reluctant to install mods, so I think I will leave the game as it is. Also, in RPGs I usually find annoying to be taking care of companions because sometimes they do the most stupid things. I remember Fallout, where I had to reload dozens of times because Dogmeat kept getting killed.

Read what I wrote, above: Laura Craft, and I confirmed that. ;)

Especially since Emma intended the name "Laura Craft" as a wink and a joke.

I used to feel as you do, and wouldn't use a companion. But there's a tier of recent mod companions that are definitely a cut above the average. You can read about them here. I'm especially impressed with the way Laura Croft will switch weapons according to need, for example. They teleport to wherever you are, know to levitate when you do, don't drown when you start swimming, heal themselves as needed, and will arrange in advance to meet at locations in case you split up. I also like the idea that their skills advance from use, just as yours do. I'm not saying they're a must, like some of the better Morrowind tweaking mods which make the game more of a realistic challenge, but they're better than Bethsoft's generic companions by far.

Seems like this thread is turning into spam. The question's been answered, so it's closed.
