Morte's Litany of Curses

Post by splunge »

Hi, I'm new to the forums and to Planescape. I have a question for you all experienced players:
I've read that you can add insults to Morte's repetoire (spelled?) though dialog. Quite by accident a harlot in the Hive heaped abuse on us and Morte picked up some new material. How do I get more? Furhter discussion with Harlots hasn't gotten me new abuse, I can't replicate what I did the first time.

Also, if I pick more chaotic or evil choices in dialog, do I miss out on quests/experience? Despite apparent choice, it seems like "right" answers are rewarded. Any guidance?

You'll encounter other "opportunities" for Morte to extend his repertoire as the game progresses. Hint: look for especially abusive NPCs.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Also, try to look for NPCs that argue a lot amongst each other.
If nothing we do matters, then all that matters is what we do.

I'm almost sure I've read a detailed description of morte's Litany of Curses power somewhere, but now I can't find it anymore.

Does anybody know where one can be found?
(I don't think there is one in the game, or if it is there, I can't remember how to cause it to show up!)
Where we came from, we don't know
Where we're going.... (even worse)
And about who we could be, we actually have trouble in clearly defining the term "to be" in the first place...
