protection from magic scrolls?

Post by Elvis »

I recall reading elsewhere in here that there are only two protection from magic scrolls available in SoA.

Is that correct?

If so, I assume those are the ones Ribald sells?

(I'm asking because I've bought those two scrolls from Ribald already, I've used 'em up, and I suspect I'll need to replace 'em before I face improved Kangaax.)

By rights, it seems to me there should be more of them secreted away somewhere.

If the game developers have provided only two, they're being overly stingy, in my opinion (although, yes, it does make the game more challenging, which is always a plus).

Yep, I've tried that.

Just wondering now: if I cast Spell Immunity/protection from abjuration, is that equivalent to using a Protection From Magic scroll?

If not, which spell is closest in duration and properties to the Protection From Magic scroll?

Is there one?

[Sorry for the basic questions, but I'm still at a fairly basic level of play.]

spells...prot from magic is equal to casting spell immunity: ALL of them, and tensor's transformation...since you can't spell cast either... ;)
