Somehow my main char is unable to see anything except for what's right next to him
And he isn't blinded, cursed, deseased or anything like that
Does someone know how to solve this?
(and i don't have saves of before that hapened )
Thx
Blind?
Happened to me before... it was when I fought Improved Faldorn, who cast Nature's Beauty on my main character. After casting Lesser Restoration on my main character (from my cleric), the blindness disappeared, but the character's sight range remained the same as blind. At that point I did not have a save prior to the Faldorn fight, so I had no choice but to copy over to the mpsave folder, load that game in multiplayer and recreate my main character.
I think its a bug from Nature's Beauty (seeing as to how its not cast by any other enemy). What I did was, to go to my save folder (should be BG2 - SoA\save) and copy the afflicted file to the multiplayer save file (BG2 - SoA\mpsave). Then I started a multiplayer game, and loaded from the copied save file. Once in the game I dropped all eq on my main character and wrote down his skills and xp and whatever. Then I went to character arbitration (a button just above the options button, i think) and deleted my main character. (Click on the modify characters button, then click on your main character's name, then delete). Create your main character again, and give him/her the same stats, xp, etc. (Use CLUAConsole or SK) **You do know that you can play single player on multiplayer, just that you own all the characters, do you?**
EDIT: Forgot to include some stuff: after you've done all the character editing work, save the multiplayer game again and then copy the save over to the single player save folder. Then load that game. Oh yes, when I did it the first time the vision was fine in multiplayer but went screwed in single. So I tried again, changing the method a little (like restarting my laptop between editing and reloading etc) and it worked the second time.
