A completely insane modmaker
http://gbmorrowmods.1.forumer.com/index ... owtopic=30
Apparently there is a mod maker who has came up with a mod to add the following things:
"3986 quests (no fed-ex type quests!)
Babies, children, teenagers, old people (new meshes and textures!)
Elaborate marriages,divorces,pregnancy!
Skinny people, fat people, normal size people (all new meshes and textures, with all new clothing, and armor meshes to fit the different sized people, that automatically changes to the appropriate size!)
All Guilds and Houses expanded, with hundreds of new quests, new houses for GuildMasters, and 6 level Strongholds (instead of the pitiful 3 level Strongholds!)
Imperial graveyards, tombs and crypts, with many integrated quests!
The ability to write in your new Journal (made just for your notes!),and write notes on all plain paper available in the game!
All npcs have the potential to not only be an adventuring partner, but also to become your husband or wife (quest npcs and main quest essential npcs only become available to journey with you have finished all quests involving them),this also means that the normal npcs that you have to escort in certain official Morrowind/expansions are no longer a pain to escort!
All new weapons, armor, clothing, and many other surprises!
All new housing system, including the ability to by houses owned by npcs in the official game & expansions!
The ability to sit in chairs and lie in beds (using all new meshes!),and all npcs with the scripted ability to sit and lie down when appropriate!
All npcs have completely unique and individual dialogue (except in regards to certain quests)
No more npcs wearing the same clothes everyday!
Many other surprise features!"
I for one would die if this mod actually came out, he says that the mod is 99% complete. I have a hard time beleiving this but i hope it is real.I am just trying to make the GB members aware of this potentially great mod and would like to hear your comments...

I think its a fantastic individual acchivement, and I've been following the thread on the summit forums for quite a while now, some people are starting to doubt the existance of the mod, but from what I hear the modder is very well respected, and I'm keeping faith, and look forward to this mod.

If it existed this mod would be a godsend
. I will monitor the progress of this mod with interest, as the variety it would add to Morrowind would be much apprectiated, albeit not nessesarily (sp?) needed due to the high amount of mods available already.
From "Feet of Clay" By Terry Pratchett:
"It seemed to be a chronic disease. It was as if even the most intelligent person had this little blank spot in their heads where someone had written: "Kings. What a good idea." Whoever had created humanity had left in a major design flaw. It was its tendency to bend at the knees.

Holla, I'm on my daily search for mods and look here what I found: Regular Sitting NPCs
But beware: I haven't tried it out yet...This mod adds sitting NPC's to most taverns in Vvardenfell, and bards to some. --- So many chairs and benches and no one sitting down! The carpenters of Morrowind must be immensely frustrated. No longer! This mod adds 27 NPC's to various pubs and clubs on Vvardenfell that are actually sitting down. These NPC's won't do much - they have no quests
for you and they will only get up when you fight them. It's just a small thing, but it makes the pubs look much more real. This version also adds animated bards.

[QUOTE=Dark Master]I now believe that DarkFlame's mod is a hoax, I've given up all hope of this mod, and I'm dissapointed.

I've never believed in this one, because the claims were too wild. There are always one or two people who get their jollies out of leading others on with incredible promises, just as in politics. Maybe it was my realistic attitude to politicians, in fact, that led me to think this was a fake from the start.
On the other hand, there are some elaborate group mod efforts that have been working for more than a year. The problem there isn't bad intentions, but reallife schedules, poor organization, in-group fighting, etc. Sometimes these things actually get finished, but often it's a result of a single person doing most or all of the work. Tommy Khajit's excellent The Black Mill quest/adventuring mod is one example of this. Max's resource/RPG-expanding Complete Morrowind is another.

He sais that he's back
That mod for which I posted a link above shows that it's possible to have sitting NPCs. When it's possible to have sitting NPCs, then it's possible to have sleeping NPCs. We'll see...

He's been saying it's 99% done forever, and the mod literally not only remakes all of Morrowind, but adds major game sub-systems that were left out by the entire team of Bethsoft developers as too time-consuming to create, or simply impossible given the alreadly-created code. Some are just ridiculous, like the nearly 4000 individualized quests, with hundreds of quests for guilds.
And he does this, not with a team of 70+ people, but by himself...
Sheee-yeah. Right.
EDIT: Monolith, I don't mean this to sound like a criticism of you. I'm just annoyed at people like the joker who started this whole super-mod business, because he's leading so many people on.

I've also seen no evidence that the modder has ever released anything of even modest dimensions, before. Mods-in-progress are always accompanied (in my admittedly very limited experience) by announcements of great detail and screenshots. The modder's posts on that forum are remarkable for their absence of detail. He apparently duplicates the contents of many mods that have each taken several months for teams to create, but doesn't copy their code, and he does it all by himself--how? He's creating children and teens of both sexes for all races, plus all new clothing and armor for each of them; that's hundreds of new meshes, perhaps more--by himself? Why doesn't he post images of a few of these? It's amazing how little information he's given out, yet kept people hanging and drooling seemingly forever.

Thats just human nature really, promise somebody something they really want, and they'll go to any lengths to convince themselves that you are for real, these people are just believing what they want to see, and turning a blind eye to the evidence agains this mod's existance.

I agree. I mean, there's no way that this guy can possibly do a mod like that on his own, and that should be common sense. But like you said, if you promise someone something, even something that is highly unlikely, they'll try to make themselves believe it.

Just an update. Try clicking now on the link on the top of the page. I'm trying to figure out whether the account was hacked, or whether DarkFlame was shown up for a fake.
