Which class would YOU solo SoA with???
Going solo through SoA right now with a sorcerer. Working out well. Most annoying aspect of playing a sorc has been outdoors encounters in Athkatla. I don't want to bribe the cowled wizards since I want to take them out.
I'm going through the game with a mostly mage party and I don't want to bribe them either. One thing I've noticed is that it seems as if all indoor spaces are exempt from that spellcasting ban. Also the areas between locations (if you have an encounter while travelling between locations) are exempt as well. A trick that might work is to duck into a building to buff (Tenser's Transformation?) and then come out for some carnage.
Don't know if you knew this all already.

Transmuter can acces a lot of buffs, including haste, tansers transformation, timestop. stoneskin, shapechange and the list can go on, not even a chalange compared to a fallen beastmaster, only another fallen ranger or paladin can come close to matching the crappyness, and the beastmaster is just the worst kit out of both the selections.
Actually Lithium, the Avenger is quite easy to solo through the game with, I know. If you want to get around the whole strength con disadvantages just import from bg1 and you can have str dex con 18 18 18 or whatever. Next, the Avenger is extremely powerful, the extra spells help (x5dooms+chromatic orb=anyone dies, even dragons) the fact that you can be the most diverse (almost) natural shapeshifter in the game (CotS helps), plus if you know how to use the druids spells properly you can kill just about anything.
To sum it all up: It's not the class that sucks, it's usually the player's skill in that class that sucks. Any class can rock (example: Wizard Slayer makes final battle with Irenicus a breeze), you just have to know how to use them.
But then again you could also mean giving a class bad items or making them fallen to increase the challenge, in which case what I said previously, you can just forget.
Oh yeah, FireLighter, good picture with Stewie, I've got all 3 seasons on dvd and I can't wait for this new season to come next year. Greatest show in history.

NB - Doom stacking with itself only works if you haven't installed the Baldurdash fix pack.

Too true. But some are much easier than others.

I have given up all lesser evils as inadequate to my purpose.

I did have it at one point, and now I don't have it because of our new computer, so I never knew it didn't work with the patch. Each time I've played the Avenger I coincidentally did not have the Baldurdash fix pack downloaded.
I guess that would be a way to increase the difficulty.
