Yes you can join all the guilds you want no matter of what your earlier memberships are. The only limit is that you can only join one Great House. So only Telvanni, Hlaalu or Redoran. No other limits.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, once you've joined a house you can't leave it anymore, even if you slaughter the council and kill every member of that house you see, right?

You can leave a house, but you can't join a second one.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Once you've joined one of the Great Houses you can't join another. You're basically a member for lifetime when it comes to joining a new House, it's not allowed. You can still get expelled from your current House but it won't let you join another. Fair? Maybe not. Reasonable? Yes.

Edit: Curse you, my bloody slow fingers, I do.

Personally I'd go with Redoran. Noble, righteous, fierce warriors. For fighters mostly.

Telvanni is cool too. Arrogant powerful wizards living in weird mushroom towers... Obviously for players seeking power and see themselves superior compared to everyone else :D

Hlaalu... Hate 'em... I've always seen them as treacherous, back-stabbing, deceiving lurkers who'd do anything to get their hands on more wealth... Two words: Scrooge McDucks...

We of the great house hlaalu may be back stabbing but as long as we're not caught doing it how can we be condemed + i find its very easy to get ahead in hlaalu, there is only one thing i can see wrong with this house, the member that you get to sponser you is some sort of sick pervert.

Telvanni, how can any self respecting dunmer join house telvanni when their highest ranking members are all dumbassed necromancing basts.
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees

You forgot to mention that they live in mushrooms, hate everybody else, live in mushrooms, force their guards to wear helms made of decaying animal skulls, live in mushrooms, don't mind if one of their collegue is killed etc etc...
Hmm did I mention they live in mushrooms?

I can't see any reason why anyone wouldn't want to join this Great House...

[/END SARCASM]

To be honest, I join this particular house for the fun of it. They sure do need some more sane members in addition to that man-hater and that egg-crazy.

What stronghold is better? Redoran or Hlaau? Dont include telvanni cuz i looked at the screenshots and it looks like the wicked witch melting with some sort of chaotic crystalization process at the same time, with fungus and stupid guards.

I like the Redoran Stronghold more even though it's in the middle of nowhere. Don't know which one is bigger...

And don't worry about those 4. Go ahead and kill them. You can't join their faction anyway. Camonna Tong goes into the same faction group as the Twin Lamps and the Sixth House, the Unjoinables.
