Going to the Underdark (spoilers)!

Post by FireLighter »

I have just defeated jonnie in the asylum, went back to asylum 1, the place you get the key, was confromted by the dude who takes you to his ship. I said I wanted to take the portal, but only said that so I could get the horn and staff from the now opened rooms. Is there a way to still travel on his ship? I would like to go to the sahaugin city.
TIA

Nope, IIRC now you have to load an earlyer savegame.
You can get the horn and staff even idf you take the ship. Just go back inside
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

Can I exit through the asylum and get to the outside and meet him? If not its no big deal, I was just interested in the extra exp. The items there wouldnt be much use for me since I'm soloing a blade, although I do have UAI.

Spoiler(of sort)

Do you know about the Cloak of Mirroring? I would have thought that would be a good item for soloing or even with a party for that matter.
When Evil beckons what will you do?

Will you run and hide?

Or will you answer the call and revel in it's power. It will set you free, to do what you want....when you want. It will unleash you, let you become anything you desire and gain power over those weaker than you.

But will you care about their plight, their screams and cries for mercy? No, for doing so would would make you as weak as them and there are always others willing to take your place from you...

SPOILER

If you want ALL items, just answer to seamon (spelling?) that you will take his boat. He will teleport you outside the Asylium and give you a rendez-vous at the tavern. Now just go back inside the Asylium. You can now access Jonnies' room :)

Yes, I have the cloak of mirroring in my bag of holding. But is it possible to just go outside to the tavern if you said you would take the portal??

No, if you say you're going to use the portal Saemon is gone for good (I think)
