Ah, the wonders of Post antomic medical sience. But i've realised that i got no idea where to get the Stat improving threatment, so please advise.

Also there is the matter of Shades and Weird brain allignment.. two things i never knew off..

You can get stat mods at any of the BoS when you get the right chips (Intelligence chips for instance) and some dermal inplants in vault city, or should I say outside vault city. There are some drawbacks though.

I'm pretty sure the only BoS location that does the stat improving operations with the computer chip-sets is the one in San Fran, and only after you've completed the Vertibird plan quest. I don't think you can enter any of the other BoS buildings in NCR or the Den. Let me know if I'm wrong. Also, you can get the dermal/thermal implants done in San Fran as well as in Vault City by the doctors in those locations.

As far as I remember from multiple play-throughs, I would agree with you. The other BoS "bases" are just to point you in the right direction as far as I remember.

Yep, you can enter the other bases as soon as you retrieve the virtibird plans, but they're just empty rooms. I was kinda hoping they'd all have goodies, but all the others I traveled to were empty.

All I know is that the strength +1 chip is in a room behind a jammed door in Vault 8 (Vault City's) and there's a different one in a locker in the Sierra Army Depot (Intelligence or Agility...not sure).

There is a Charisma +1 chip in one of the lockers in navaro

if the charisma is in navarro, then the perception chip is in the millitary base.
the S.A.B. chip is for INT...

You can also talk with Painless Doc Johnson in Redding about implants if you've searched Vault City's databases. He'll perform the same implants at lower cost than other doctors.

Also note that as far as I know the first implants don't have any drawbacks. If you take the "high-level" implants (the very expensive ones) your charisma will take a hit.
