Fallout 3
Fallout 3
So who else is stoked about Fallout 3 being in production (codenamed Van Buren).
I know I am. I've been waiting years for this.
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

I love this series and would really like to see a FO3. The end of FO2 leave things wide open for more scenerios. I thought FO2 did a wonderful job with the new weapons and armor (Bozar, Tesla armor, Impulse rifle, etc.) and would hope that any sequel would have some other new and intriguing items. I also eagerly anticipate Thief 3.

Well it's not official but everyone is talking about it on the Interplay boards, including/especially the designers.

It's cool how all the "Gun" skills have been merged. That way I don't have a guy who can use a minigun accurately but can't handle a 9MM pistol. I also like how ammo is being limited and how a little more focus is being put on melee weapons. Apparently there'll be swords (made out of old car bumpers and the like). Especially cool is how scientists are a little worse at fighting, but have the unique ability to create bullets

I have to agree with Craig on this one
Knowing how to aim a small hand gun is by far the same as aiming and handeling a bigger weapon. (Learned this in the army).
Knowing how to fire a rifle didn't make me better at firering anti-tank weapons or lighter machineguns even.
Of couse you know wich way to point it and sometimes what trigger to pull (sometimes
)
I don't like a merging of gun skills
(not that likely will stop me from playing it )
