Dual-Class Archer/Thief

Hey guys! I've just worked arround editing some .2DA files from the Override file of BG2 - SoA and ended with the possibility to dual-class from an Archer to a Thief.

Here's the modified file (do a backup of your old file before changing it. Thrust me, you don't want to re-install the whole BG2 game).

*The file name is DualClas.2DA. Really easy to edit. Now I'm gonna play my new Archer/Thief and see if it's buggy.

EDIT : Hmm... doesn't seem to work anymore. I'll continue testing on this within the night. I'll still let my file there. If someone know how to make a new Dual-Class from a kit to another kit, just msg me.

I dont understand, you've made a dual-classed Archer/Thief within some kind of file? Shouldn't be a problem, just to create a human Archer, and then Dual him at the chosen lvl !?

No, it's impossible normally, because you can't dual a Ranger to a Thief.
What Sp101 did was altering one of BG2's files so it is (or should be

) possible.

I know, but I want the Hide in Shadow Bonus when I reactivate my Archer skills and the possibility to choose the Ranger Stronghold (I never played this one).

Now I'm just working to add a thief Sub-Class : the Shadow Archer. A sort of Stalker proficient with bows. Can't wear Studded Armors or Elven/Drow Mails.

Creating a new class will just me less trouble than working arround on a "maybe impossible dual-class".
