Cursor Leaving Images of itself

Post by mortsp »

I just installed the 4 cd version of planescape Torment plus its patch. I've upgraded my video card driver. My problem is that as I move the game cursor over the dialog portion of the screen, it leaves a trail of it's image. It doesn't do this in the game play area. Any ideas? Thanks.

I don't know if this will help at all, however...

In the crontrol panel (accessible from the startmenu) - there should be an icon for the mouse. In there you can possible switch around some settings for the cursor.

However - you could also try to enter the proberties for your graphicscard and try and turn down "hardwareacceleration".

Now - we don't know which OS you use, but if you use WinXP try running the game in compatability mode.

Other then this I can't really help you - it could be a problem with PS:T also though, which I know nothing about :)

Slow down

Check the mouse acceleration and video acceleration. Either or both are contributing to the problem. The video setup should be set to full hardware acceleration. The mouse setup acceletation should be set to the fastest you can use compfortably. Of course you have a fast CPU - a little slow CPU or one two busy can affect visual speed.
