Bug? Spell button (any quick button, for that matter) does not work....

Quick facts:

Running BG II and TOB
Version 2.5.26498
Also have Baldurdash TOB fixes installed
"Unfinished business" installed
"Dungeon skip" (Jamie St. Baird) installed

First game I fired up, everything worked fine. Decided I wanted to start a different character, so I began a new game, and this where things get wierd.

None of the quick keys work. Occasionally, I can get the spell listing to open, but it closes after 10 secs or so, and then I can't open it again - clicking does *nothing*. Same with special abilities. Using F-keys produces the same results. Does not matter which character I try, same thing happens.

Not a happy camper here, I need my BGII!!!!

Well... you doesn't have alot of mods. Just reinstall if you can't find what's the problem.

What kind of items do you have on you?

I've heard of this bug before, it has nothing to do with items or mods...
Do you have a wireless keyboard and/or mouse ? If that's the case, read this thread for some information how to solve your problem:
