I am muslim.
I am 22 years old.
I am from the sub-continent ie Pakistan.
That should alone tell you i am a horny perverted depraved kid (man take your pick) who cant bed a woman until marriage. Who cant watch porn nor release the natural tension.
So the word to describe my state is not desperate, but something way beyond that.

Warning:Boring Gunsmith Lecture Coming up:
First of all, you need to figure out what you want. Do you want sheer firepower? Durability? Ammo capacity? For instance, I give advice to a lot of people who are leaving to be stationed and work on places like Svalbard or Bjørnøya, where for instance Polar Bears are a regular threat. You do not want to encounter one of those armed with anything less that a .45 or a .44 Magnum. Calibres like 9mm or .38Special will only annoy them, and you definetly do not want to do that. Also, the climate is such that a pistol is usually a bad idea. Too many moving parts that can be affected by cold and bad lubricants. Hence, a revolver will usually do the trick. The new Smith & Wesson 500 has become frighteningly popular. Most people can't handle a weapon like that. Actually, to most people a .44 Mag with field loads is quite a handful when used in dangerous situation and not on a firing range. However, that's usually what they end up with. The S&W 629 4" is a good and reliable choice.
Then there is the people like security guards, bodyguards and cops, who might be threatened by human predators. Most of them are in a situation where the ABSOLUTE knowledge of your firearm's capacity is a must. Experience has shown that 9mm is not a good choice. First of all, it has a rather viscious and remarkably turgid recoil, pulling upwards and distinctly to the right, destroying your accuracy no matter how good a marksman you are. Secondly it has very limited power. People in these professions want a weapon that will deliver punch and stopping power without killing the person(s) standing behind the target. The .40S&W cartridge is a good choice for this. It's marginally larger than the 9mm without any of the disadvantages. As for the weapon... The Heckler & Koch USP .40 has become the weapon of choice for these people, taking over from the SIG. It's light, has a good magazine capacity which removes the disadvantages of having to carry too many clips, and first and foremost it's got great safety features. It's also become quite popular with the military lot, but too many countries are still sticking with the 9mm format, so it's gonna take a while before we have a change of mentality there. Another problem with the new ceramic/synthetic/plastic guns is that field maintenance is virtually impossible without spare parts. With all-metal weapons a proficient gunsmith can repair/improve any weapon in virtually any situation.
"Home Defence" is something I don't wanna go into. It's an NRA-invented mantra suitable IMO only for banana republics and countries where civilized society and social structure has completely broken down. Get a good shotgun that you can use both for hunting, sports and emergencies, and that should be plenty enough. It's large, visible, legal and your children are less likely to fiddle around with it while you're away. The notion that anyone in the western world needs a high-powered automatic handgun to protect themselves is IMO retarded to the extreme. Which brings me to people who frequent areas where predators both animal and human might be a problem. My wife's work takes her to locations where this is a regular problem. She and a lot of people in her situation has decided on the .45ACP pistol as their weapon of choice for self defence. The .45 is an old mainstay, made famous by Colt's 1911 A1 pistol, and improved tremendously since then. The Para-Ordnance P14 Limited is a double stacked, all-metal 1911 version with a 15 shot capacity, so rock solid you can virtually drag it behind your car down the freeway for 2 hours and it will still fire. It's also very easily maintained, which gives any person with an above-rudimentary knowledge of gun mechanics the possibility to perform field repairs. Another factor is that it will "eat" virtually any sort of cartridge, from high-power military issue of dubious make, to low-spec precission made competition ammo. Of course it's a large weapon, virtually impossible to conceal and quite heavy, but for the people who carry this one, that's not an issue.
Thus endeth the sermon.
