Favorite Books
I've recently been reading all the books that level me up in skills that I use. A lot of them are pretty good. So, I decided upon a thread for listing your favorite books.
I like the 2920 series, even though I'm reading it all out of order. I don't like he Vivec sermons, though.
A single book I recently read that was really funny was Hallgerd's Tale.

All the Hallegard's series are very nice (Bone was positively grotesque though). The Wolf Queen series and some of the skill books are a little spooky, the 2920 series was great I agree, but my personal favourites should be The Mystery of Talara series and A Dance in Fire series.
Trust me, I HAVE read them all. Straight from the CS.

There are some prett graphic ones out there. I read one that described in detail how to cut a man's throat, what angle to slice with, and how to avoid being hit by the blood spray. It went into some pretty detailed forensic stuff, which was cool but slightly freaky. At least it improved my short blade skill... ;-)
"Yes. Later on, I'd love to."

i cannot remember the title, but i found it in Milk, it was about a marksman, and an evasive, cowardly daedra lord
I also loved confessions of a skooma eater, which i always have on a desk, along with some skooma, a pipe, and some empty skooma flasks

Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Hmm, can't quite remember the name, but it's the book about the orc's (yes I know there are more than one ) I mean the one where you learn medium armor up, it's something about an orc who defeats another one because wearing armor you could move quick in!

I don't have the patience to read the books. Though I wish I did. Someday, I will read them. (Though I have read a few, most of which I enjoyed. I don't remember the names though. )
I'm an xboxer.

yes the "a dance in fire series" is a good one, I know the book u read koree, it was nice but i like the book that the mage in al'durn sends you for. It tells you about how two groups were at war then one sends a golem to the other side as a peace offer then that side trys to figure out if it can be used for fighting. then the side that got the golem uses it to take over the side that gave it. but the golem doesnt fight. find the book and read it its good i think.

Water Breathing, Chance's Folly, and the one about the contest between the Argonian Smith, and the Imperial Smith that raises light armour are all good. Water Breathing's last line is quite... (at this point I'm torn between chilling, dramatic, and ironic)
A Game at Dinner I enjoyed, Withershins was downright weird. But the book of Bosmer Riddles was hillarious (may have been Bosmer poetry, I don't know). The book where somebody is stealing apples is good, the one that raises light armour, one day I intend to read the brief history of the empire in the correct order.

At one point I tried to take The Armorer's Challenge to Sirollus Saccus in order to humiliate him.
Suffice to say that it didn't work.
How come Sirollus Saccus can live that long anyway?
A Game at Dinner was quite disturbing. The Rear Guard is the apple one, and I actually laughed out loud at the ending.
Am I the only one who has read Bone?

I meant why not do that before sending out slaves to get stuff. In the beginning they had steel for armor, and then leather for armor. This means they could've also made steel weapons, such as the bow, sword and spear, or even leather slings if it came down to it. Of course, the story of a guy who sat atop his castle sniping Nords is pretty boring. On the other hand, I'd rather have my marksman raised than my medium armor.
