Hi:
In Gothic II you can do almost all of the faction quests before actually joining a faction. I was wondering how far I could take things in Lionheart? I've done the pre-quests for all three major groups, as well as for one minor group.
In other words, at what point do I 'commit' to a faction?
Thanks,
Mike
How far can you go with factions?

Thanks - I went ahead and found that out manually. I took it a step at a time, knowing which faction I wanted to join, and went to the point where they said 'once you do this, you join us' or whatever. Which amounted to one quest each, basically.
I'm still enjoying this game quite a bit ... I've put probably ~20 or so hours, am just out of the first city, and it is still fun ... much better than I expected.
Yea... lionheart is fun
So in the end which faction did you join?
Didn't realize this thread was already 'old'
I joined the Weilders, which made sense as I was going the Fire Mage path. When I play again, I'll probably take the templar path and play a human (probably female) ... but I've put the game away for now ...
