No haste for Edwin?

Post by Morlock »

I'm now in the begining of ToB, with a party I've been using from the begining of SoA. Problem is- I've got 5 boots of speed that I've found over the game and that armor that gives you speed. It's looking great- I've got my entire party permanintly hasted. BUT- for some obscure reason, this doesn't work for Edwin. The boots simply don't do anything. I've tried them every way I could think of, I removed all of his otehr stuff- nothing. Anyone know what can be done abotu this? It's very inconvinient to have your primary mage lagging behind. And with the staff of the magi, he's my main explorer, but his speed makes him a pretty useless one.

Do you have the ring of free action? or something that does the same? In addition to the 'nice' effects, it prevents haste as well ...

In will actually work if you equip the boots first, then the ring ... but you'll have to do that everytime you reload the game.

Try SKing him another pair of boots...maybe the current ones you have are buggy or something.

Boots of speed should work on Edwin just fine. Sounds like a bug.
The only thing I can think of is using Shadowkeeper to increase his speed.
