Logitech MX700 mouse
so I'm having trouble with menus, when I mouse over menus with the cursor it automatically scrolls to the very bottom of the menu, and clicking on the arrows does not eelicit any reaction...it's a total pain because I cannot even complete the first mission, since the person I have to ask about it in the middle part of the menu, and I only see the bottom, any ideas?

Don't know what kind of mouse that specific model is but if it has a srcoll wheel I know how a possible cause to the scroll thing.
I had a similar problem with my mouse for some time ago. Can't remember the exact model however. It turned out to be the scroll wheel that was responsible. Apparently I had touched it slightly so that it had turned a bit and this caused the scroll bars to move to the bottom at the moment I opened any menu. So I simply turned the scroll wheel in the opposite direction until the menus stopped scrolling and I could use the arrows on the bar.

Did the mouse come with its own software, and if so, have you installed it? If not, try doing so. If you have software installed, try removing it, and seeing if you can control it using the standard Control Panel mouse controls.

well...when I do use the scroll wheel it just goes straight to the top...and then completely stops responding...
I suppose I could try uninstalling the software, although I kinda bought the mouse for the extra buttons, so it pisses me off that morrowind is not compatible with it...what is the most current version of morrowind, perhaps a patch for the game will fix it?

It's just the scroll wheel? Then try running the software you received with the mouse, and reassign the scroll wheel to another command. It's probably something in the command itself that's causing the problem.
