Couple Questions

Post by R-Factor »

1) I went to Ebonhart and killed the Duke, because I tent to do random stupid things like that, and I recieved some kind of land contract or something, what now though? It says I can have a fortress and everything. Where do I take it now? If someone could help on this one, that would be great.

2) In Mournhold, theres a guy walking around in the silver armour that the Ladys Hand or whatever her knights are called wears, except his is shining and obviously enhanced. How good is the armour? It would be pretty hard to kill the guy, so Im just wondering if it would be worth my time. I have full Daedric armour and am wondering if this would be better.

Thanks for any help.

1) the contract is for your Great House quests. You get to build yourself a stronghold. if you dont join a great house, its just taking up space in your inventory.

2) the dood is one of the hands of almexia (sp?).

spoiler in black

according to that psycho hose beast god, he was driven mad by getting to close to her divinity or something like that. you can kill him by taunting him or as a quest given to you by said Psycho Hose Beast. the armor sucks. its all enchanted with crap. custom enchanted armor is the way to go (cept maybe cuiriass). save your game and kill him if you're not sure. you can beat him down with a coupla hits from sunder if you can sneak up behind him.

Thanks for the help. One last very stupid question.

How do I get the great house quest? Who do I talk to? Do I need the Duke to be alive for it?

Thanks.

You fool, its not a quest, you go to a Hiaalu house or redoran or telvanni or whatever the contract is for then you do a bunch of missions for them untill you have advanced enough to get them to make you your stringhold

to join one of the great houses go to the respective "capital" and speak to pretty much anyone you find inside one of their manors. they'll tell you who you need to talk to.

for telvanni you need to go speak to the Mouths in Sadrith Mora.
hlaalu you need to speak to a chick in one of the manors in balmora. sorry i cant remember her name or the manor name - shes a dark elf right at the door way - next to the morag tong guild hall and kitty corner to the hlaalo manor if i remember right.
for redoran i have no idea who, but head to ald'ruhn and you'll track the guy down. probably that sarethi guy under Sklar. i never did the redoran house.
