Problem with magical item.

Hello again. I'm having another problem with the Houndstooth collar I picked up back in the palisades. It grants the user the ability to cast beast claw on herself once per day. Well, the ability seems to have become permanent. I have long since sold the collar yet my 13th level drow monk is still under the beast claw effect. I am unable to use my stunning attack because of this. Any idea how this permenancy came about and how to get rid of it? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a glitch to me as that's certainly not what's supposed to happen, lol. My advice is to delete the character, recreate it and then cheat the experience back up with the CLUA Console thang. I realise it's cheating but if it's a glitch in the game then it doesn't really count. If you do do this then remember to transfer all of your items to another character or the ground first as they will be deleted also. Hope that helps,

or export your character.. then import it back to you party...

you could try a Dispell Magic. it might be as easy as that.

Good point, try whacking a dispell magic on them. That should, technically, work but if it is a glitch in the game I'm not sure if it works. I don't recall how Beast Claw works, do you get a symbol on your character's portrait? If you do then I'd guess Dispell Magic would work. If not it probably won't. You'll have to experiment.
