Hey, im getting near the end of fallout 2. Just preping the ship to leave for the oil rig. Got the fuel and everything, just need the FOB from Navarro, only problem is that since i last went there i have picked up this annoying "bag luck dog" or "phriah dog" (think thats how the game spells it) The dogs lowered my luck by 5, and evryone elses luck when in combat. All of this is bearable
PROBLEM: You need to be on your own to enter navarro, the dog wont leave and i cant seem to kill it by shooting it. (delt it about 600 damage and it was still only "wounded")
Any one else come across this and know where i got the dog from? and how to get rid of it? I only noticed it recently after i have saved over all the saves i've had without it. Can i now not complete the game because of it?

Bad Luck Dog
What you have run into is the Pariah Dog which is a special encounter in the game.

It causes bad luck as you have found out (it usually also takes bad luck to find it), but unfortunally - I don't know of a way to remove it (other then killing it).
