ok, I'm running windows XP Professional... I get through character generation ok and then when I get ready to start the game I get a error...
Runtime error... Abnormal termination or something like that and everything shuts down...
I have installed the Windows XP patch... is there some other problem that is causing this??
Thanks

For what it's worth, I have XP Pro as well, and it works fine for me ... I didn't have to do anything special to make it work either.
Only thing I can suggest is playing with the different BGII graphics settings - maybe turning something down/off will fix your problem ...

Make sure you have the latest game patch, too.

I'm sure the error has nothing to do with your Windows version. Try the game patches, those should work!

Have you tried the game discs on other computers and/or other CD/DVD drives?
