Expert Excrement Expeditor

Post by Yeltsu »

That's right fellas, I found a new perk!
Go to Broken hills, and the caravan place, ask for the job of shoving the crap for awhile, do this as many times as possible, and you'll be awarded with a new perk, namely: the Expert Excrement Expeditor.
The description says that "You are able to sling bull with the best of them" :D

If this has been known since the dawn of time, then......well.......I'M PROUD OF MYSELF ANYWAY!

all right, got that out.

Has anyone else found some new, funny perks in this game?

Sorry to say - but that perk is far from new, it has been known for quite a while - but still, you should be proud, because you found it for yourself, so don't sweat it :)

I can't really remember the special perks anymore (been a very long time since I played FO2) - the only one I can recall (besides the one you found) is the Gecko Skinning perk.

Oh, oh well. I guess this game is to old for me to have a realistic chance of finding an uncovered easter egg.

Anyhoo, do the EX EX EX perk gives some bonuses? like some increase in speech skill or something?

I don't recall any bonus being connected with the perk, but of course, I might remember wrong. :)

there's no bonus for it, it's just a fun thing you get from a certain quest.
Here where the flattering and mendacious swarm
Of lying epitaths their secrets keep,
At last incapable of further harm
The lewd forefathers of the village sleep.

Theres also the gigalo perk. If u sleep around too much. And you can get "porn star" if you make a film with the brothers in New Reno. Porn star affects your npc's no one wants to hang with a porn star. But hey. Its worth it to get it then reload. lol

Vault City Training Perk

Visit the doctor inside the old vault in Vault City and talk to him. If your stats are high enough in the Doctor skill you will get a dialog that says something like "I'm somewhat of a doctor myself" and he will offer to give you some free training. After the training your doctor skill will go up 5 pts or so and you will get the perk notation of "Vault City Training" (or something like that).

Use sience on the computers in vault city vault then talk to the doctor in the vault or in san fran I can't remember, if you give him some combat armour he cuts you open and puts it under your skin, and then you can wear another suit of armour over the top of it.

It's classed as a perk. Although I'm sure you all know about it anyways.

EDIT: I almost forgot, he can do it twice to double the effect, but doing it the second time will lower your charisma by one.

Also in Vault City if you talk to the doctor that gives you the "Vault City Training" perk for your doctor skill you can also get "Vault City Innoculations" that increase your natural resistance to radiation and poison.

Another perk is to become a Made Man of one of the mobs in New Reno. You get to pick a nickname and also get discounts and "special weapons" option at the weapons dealer in the Commercial District.

The ExExEx perk gives you a +5% bonus to speech, and 500 xp points (I don't remeber if you can read the xp bonus in the screen).

Once you kill some kid, people start hating you and send out some mean law enforcer after you... that is kinda fun when you are a higher level, but is a huge pain when you are still a baby Chosen-one...

My Karma is 1300+. Yes, most towns are Idolized, but some are Neutral. The Raiders, of course, hate me, but I don't care because they're all corpses. :)

I've played F2 over ten times and ALWAYS was I the good guy... Every town idolized and liked... once the game is over, I make sure that there is no one left alive on the map... Starting from b@stards in Vault City, followed by New Reno and so on...

Reminds me of the highest difficulty setting on Wolfenstein 3D: "I am Death Incarnate"! :)
