Paladin makes roadkill of Undead!!!

Post by Fiberfar »

playing a paladin in HOTU is easy... even with D&D hardcore rules. The Cult elite member (or what ever she's called) died because i used Lay on Hands and got a Critical hit... and gues what: 450 Divine damage was the result... :D . the same happened with the Draco lich...

My point is: the paladin is much better than the F.eks Fighter because i he gets so darn good special abilities like the lay on hands. I just want to inform that paladins may make the hotu to easy...

Well that is not limited to the Paladin class. My Fighter(/Monk/CoT) is just great cleaving his way through anything the Underdark throws at him with his +10 keen, hasted, true seeing, regenerating, shocking Shadowblade, dealing 100 dmg per crit.

That was not intended as bragging, but as remark that probably all classes will have an easy time in HotU, due to uber-powerful items and epic status....

All classes are (relatively) easy in HotU due to overpoweredness of items - yes.

And lets keep the party clean, so everybody try and post polite and less sarcastic, please :)

Well, that was exactly the reason for my post. HotU is relatively easy with just about any class. If you think it's too easy you could start off with playing it at maximum difficulty and without henchmen which most people don't do. It's not too hard this way either but there are at least some enemies you might have problems with. As a ranger with the right weapons for example, you'll have massive problems beating the weapon spirit without dispelling it.
