The pregnancy will reach its logical conclusion, if you don't act like a jerk. Certain characters will have amusing reactions. 'nuff said. ;)
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

OK, here are some of the reactions. Enjoy! :D

Jan: "So... you finally got little Aerie pregnant. About time, if I do say so myself. You two were going at it like a pair of hormonally imbalanced bunnies. I was beginning to wonder if <CHARNAME>'s bow was out of arrows, if you get my drift. It's like the time my cousin Hedgehog..."

Keldorn: "You... you are with child, Aerie? But... but you are not married! Unless we sanctify your union with <CHARNAME> this child will be a bast..."

Anomen: Along the same lines as Keldorn

Edwin: "Well, it would seem the leader of our little group has impregnated the impressionable circus child. (And here I thought she was merely getting chubby without the ring master's whip to keep her in shape.)"

Viconia: "So the wingless one is pregnant? I thought she was merely becoming fat."

LOL @ Sojourner

What do you mean, logical conclusion? Will she hop around holding a baby in between pit fiends and Bhaalspawn...?

How does she shield the baby from, say, Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting?

The timer is actually set to 30 days after the dialogue; and you also need to have finished all the challenges as well. So it's only near the very end of the game.

If Aerie and Haer'dalis are together in a group and the PC is not romancing Aerie, will Aerie become pregnant with Haer'dalis' baby?

Yes! Drop the baby! (Don't drop the baby...) DROP the baby! ;)
The Aerie/Haer'Dalis thing doesn't last long-- and it would be a pretty weird child anyway!
