It says in the manual that good aligned clerics can heal in place of memorised spells,, but i have not been able to figure it out.
Also my wizzy seems to be very weak. He has very little hp and doesnt cast with a lot of damage , well at least at level 1/2. Also I dont know the usefulness of a lot of spells. For example there are a few spells that seem to enhance the ability of others but i would have thought that you want to cast damage spells, so why have the other types of spells particularly since we have so few spells to cast. Maybe this is systematic of the early game??
Also can you suggest the route of specialisations to take please, thanks.
Thanks very much in advance
Auto healing??

To use 'cure' spells as a Good aligned cleric, go to spell selection on the radial screen menu (using right click, as normal), hold down the Shift key and you'll see your memorized spells turn into 'cure' spells. Left-click one while continuing to hold the Shift key and you'll cast the cure spell. There's no reason to ever memorize a cure spell if you're a Good cleric.
Low level wizards are not very powerful. They become much more so at level 5 or so. It's true that not all the spells seem that useful, but often, spells that help other characters can be very effective. Haste and especially Stoneskin can be very useful spells.
I would not recommend playing a specialist wizard unless you know which spells you prefer and how effective they are in the game. You may want to go through the manual and list all the spells by spell school to see which key spells are in each school plus how many spells are in each school before choosing which one to specialize in and which 2 schools you won't be able to use. For example, if you're looking for damage type spells, choose Evocation to specialize in.
