Swoop Races.

Post by Obi-Wan-Evan »

Hi, I have played the game a few times now and Im currently on Tatoonie doing the swoop races. And I was wondering if I beat the course record of 22:51 I belive does it change without me knowing I beat the record or does it stay the same and I have to beat it again? Thanks :D

Once you have beaten the course record of the third tier, Motta (I think thats his name) will not let you race for money again. I'm not sure, but I don't even think you can do practice runs anymore. But don't complain, you've made a rather tidy sum for relatively little hassle!

Little hint: if I remember correctly the rodian on the Yavin space station likes those tokens you get off Motta, and is willing to pay a good price for them!

The Rodian at Yavin pays more for both the racing bonds and the wraid plates. Sadly, the time I had over 108 of those plates I didn't get to go there to see how much I could net in total (I was about to go to the Unknown World and decided to start a new game, and accidentally saved over the old one; oops).

I knew that. What I was asking is if you beat the third tier time when your in the first tier do you have to beat it again or does it set a new record you have to beat?

As far as I am aware, no. Possibly, in which case I assume he would give you the bonds for all 3 tiers. But I am fairly sure that there is a record for each tier, and you have to beat it in each one.

Yes, you still have to race all three tiers. I've had a time in the first tier that was lower than any of the tiers and I still had to race again.

I had the same success and could not beat my own time and lost any chance of winning more $$
