Final Boss problem (Urgent Help needed) (TOB Spoiler)

I just don't know how to kill her she is magic resistance has high attack damage. she can also cast time stop.

To make matters even worse she can summon in Slayers

I'm stuck i don't know how to win her.
I could take on Demogorgon but why can't her

My team is
1. Me Socerer
2. Sarevok
3. Imoen
4. Visconia

cast lots of mordenkain's swords, position them behind that center column si eshe teleports herself over there. the swords are immune to most of her attacks, also, don't have anyone attacking the summoned things, they will all disappear if you get her down.
i don't want to ruin anythign in case you haven't beaten her once yet, but be sure nto to use up all your spells...

The only way to beat melissan is just that...beat her down...since you only have 1 fighter (sarevok). Have him concentrate fully on attacking melissan. Have Viconia concentrate on keeping him healed. Have your sorcerer summon a few creatures for each battle there will be 4 battles. The key is to beat melissan down untill she has to regenerate...all summoned creatures will disappear when she does this. You will still have to be a little creative because she will try to run and let the summoned creatures fight while she fights from far away use the trick from Nael and if you can cast lower resistance and beach. Make sure not to use up all your summoned creatures on the first 2 fights...the last fight is the easiest and you should concentrate all attacks on melissan if you can. One trick that helped me was to leave all creatures alone but cast imprisonment or maze on the tough ones...merideths and beholders.

You've got a tough one ahead of you. Dragons breath and Comet are fairly decent at blowing her allies away from the fight and clearing you some attack room to get at Melisan. I didn't have much luck with Abu-Dalzims Horid Wilting (Too much magic-resistance on her allies). I would use Comet to blow her allies off, then summon in some creatures close to them. Her allies go after them first. Kept me in the clear.

If you can get Implosion for Viconia, I suggest you to stock lots of Implosion. Also throw those usable items as Horn of Blasting etc. It's sad that you got only one tank - Sarevok. If you get 2 more then it's much more easier. you might also want to add Jaheira since her Insect plaque and Creeping Doom will be most useful in this fight

Final thought, get lots of potion of superior healing and try to forge some good stuff from Cespenar (armor and weapons) you might need it.

I had a hell of a time fighting this whore. I had never died so many times. The only way I can think of kicking her ass is just beat the living hell out of her. i had 2 tanks and a planetar for first 2 fights and then jut the 2 tanks. The third fight is the hardest as far as I think.
But yea just beat her down.

An interesting trick for this is the fact that you know where she is going to appear. You can set a few traps to get a decent start on her.

Also, use Sarevok's greater Whirlwind attack. If you can, try using the spell Wish, and hope that you can get a "rest and rememorize" bit.

Cast Lower resistances so you can get a few spells in on her, since you have lots of offencive magic.

Use all your potions and summoned creatures. The last key is just go after melissan. Dont let her heal herself either.

Breach removes protections as well. I hope you can make some sense of all those crazy ramblings

keep a limited wish handy to rememorize a lot of your spells. by any chance do ytou have vailor's helm? if so, be sure to have sarevok use its simulacram ability since you only have the one tank.

Too bad you don't have Aerie along with a Wish spell. If you cast it a few times, the option to rest will come up. Then you can rest after each encounter. That's what lame ass me did, who's used to using all his spells in every big fight!

Thanks for all the tips guys i finally killed her with my team of four.

I just followed the tip to blow her minions to a side with dragon's breath and focus Sarevok on her(whirlwind). Then i changed to a Slayer and attacked her too.

Glad i killed her. Else i might suffer from nightmares
