Very interesting bug in Hell(minor spoilers)

I decided to dual my mage to a thief before starting TOB and did this at the beginning of Hell. When I did the "Selfish" quest, my character was at 4th level thief with around 7500 XP. During the test, he lost experience points when I opened the last door. This brought my character to -68000 XP!!! The program didn't know how to handle this and promptly moved him up to Level 41!!! I got 18 new abilities, 925 thief points, and regained all my spells from the mage class!!! I don't know what will happen next though as it says my next experience level will be reached at -1 XP. I thought this was a pretty cool thing!!!

Well, I suppose the programmers didn't think people would dual so late, but I can certainly see how that would make the code freak out! Tempted to try it, but... I think that may make the game too easy

Just a quick update on this. Nothing happened once I got to -1 XP. It still said Next Level -1, but I didn't go up a level. The one thing that stinks is that I got all 18 thief abilities at once, but I couldn't select the same ability multiple times. So now I only have each ability once and no way of getting more. I think I'm going to scrap this and do it the "real" way and work him up normally. It was fun to play for a little while though.
