Blade of Nerevar quest

Ok the Museum of Artifacts guys says he does not have the sword pieces I can no longer even talk to him about the sword pieces. He accepted all three of my artifacts before I went back and looked at my journal and noticed he said that he had a shield intead but I still can't get that even after three donations. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP? Also I am new to the game and I keep hearing about game console and codes. Can someone please explain. Thanks in advance everyone.

Are you playing PC or Xbox?

You could try a search in the forums using keywords console and codes.
Lots of postings have covered this topic.

Blade of Nerevar quest

Sorry about that I am on PC. I have looked at some of them and done what it says to bring up the console but nothing happens. But really and truly I want to finish the main Tribunal quest and I can't find the last piece of the sword.

Have you checked out the walkthrough? If I remember correctly part of the sword is stuck to the shield.

Getting him to give me shield

Well I have made three donations of artifacts I got of a list in the walkthrough and still he hasn't given me the shield. I guess I find more artifacts and try some more.

The woman you donate to has the shield. Is that where you're going wrong?
