Annah's motivation for staying

Hey everyone I'm wondering why/what is Annah's motivation for staying with the party when you go to the lower ward right after the alley of lingering sighs. Because wasn't her task from Pharod to direct The Nameless One to where she found his body? I don't understand why she's still sticking around and not returning to Pharod. Or maybe all this will be revealed to me later in the game?
