Hi!
What means AC, DR, FS, NP? (For example when i look at an armor)
Are there others (AD, DR and so on)
How do i set magical power into a sword, or any other item?
(Hard to find right words, not so good in english)
Thanx
Any one can tell me?

I believe that AC stands for Armor Class, and DR stands for Damage Resistance, and I believe both have something to do with how often you are hit in combat, and how much damage you take when you are hit. The other two letters? No idea, I am sorry. I will try to find out for you. For now, whenever looking at armor, just follow a simple rule: Higher AC and DR is good!

The codes define the armor or weapon capibility.
In first postion as in AC = Armor Class:
A = Armor
D = Damage
F = Fire
P = Poision
E = Electrical
D = Damage
M = Magic
N = Noise
The second position as in NP = Noise Protection:
R = Resistance
C = Class
D = Damage
P = Protection
The parameters can be modified either adding or lessoning there value.
Optional parameters:
DR 10(+5) is Damage Resistance of 10 plus 5 for total of 15 DR.
FR 10(-10) is Fire Resistance of 10 minus 10 for a total of 0 FR.
AC is Armor Class, higher the number the better the armor.
DR is Damage Resistance, reduces damage on your character.
FR is Fire Resistance, higher is better
NP is Noise Protection, higher means quieter.
AD is Additional Damage. Like the machined gaunlets cause damage if unarmed.
In unmoded Arcanum you can only buy a weapon or find a weapon that already containes magic. To use magic armor or weapons you must be high on the magic / tech meter to gain the benifit of the additional magic. If your a technologist then avoid magic equipment as you'll not achieve the benifit. However if a weapon or armor contains dark magic it will be effective and independent of your magic / tech level.

Cursed Magic
Are you sure that magic apt doesn't affect cursed items? I just found that blad that does 1-72 damage but slows you down and casts random haste. I gave it to Sogg and the damage icon listed 36-36 damage. In my game he has a slight magic talent.

Resisting Curses
Good question and rings, amulets, armor and weapons with majic resistance help protect against all majic. Dorians amulet with +40 is helpful for everyone in party that has strong magic aptitude.
When you look at an amulet being worn by a NPC it will show a number in percentage that applies to that NPC. If the NPC is strong tech then it may only show around 5%. So dorians amulet may be only have 2 magic resistance on that NPC. In the inventory screen the lower right window of the visual armor/weapon screen will show all of the defensive attributes on every character. Hold your mouse over the window to view the defenses.
So the effect of using any armor or weapon depends on magic/tech level, magic resistance, willpower and any defensive spell like force field. After getting Master of Force I protect all team members with the force field. It keeps Arronox alive throughout the Void without dying once.
That blade you had was probably low (1-72) because your strength was low. Weapons background in the visual weapon/armor panel will be red if your strength is too low. Dexterity also affect striking capability.

The numbers in parantheses are the magical benefit to the equipment. So DR 10(+5) means you'll get between 10 and 15 DR depending on your magical aptitude.
