Saving?!
Saving?!
Will someone please explain to me how the saving system is supposed to work, and why it's setup this way, because the manual sure as hell doesn't. It sucks. And whenever you load a game it autosaves overwriting your last autosave. WHY? Why can't they just use the traditional saving system that everybody likes. You can either save whenever you damn well please or there are save points, not whatever the hell this nonsense is.

OK, the hero save is used DURING missions/quests.
the hero save can only save equipment, experience, items, keys, etc.
it will NOT save your position in the quest.
the hero save is great is you want to gain double experience by running the mission twice.
the world save saves everything including position.
i have noticed that the time continues as if it follows the xbox internal clock. so if you want to do something at a certain time (temple of skorn) you miss the right time, loading will not go back in time, just load stuf/position you had during save.
sorry - but it's that complex.

Ok, well here's why I was so easily pissed of earlier. I've got one of them older consoles with the older drive that doesn't read new games so well. So I had to do the damn apprentice training a dozen times or so before it would let me play long enough to make it to an autosave, because from the time you're puking after maze picks you up to the time you graduate as a hero your only option is a hero save which serves no purpose at all aside from exploiting the game and millking it for all the items and experience you want. Thanks for the explanation, but I'm still pissed that it look me that long to make it this far. And I still don't know why they didn't just use the traditional tried and true save methods. Not a fan of the saving system.
