[QUOTE=Sabre]Xandax: have you played any modules for NWN yet? There are a few really good one out there. I highly recommend the Paladin series (even though it's not completed yet).

Only the Witchs Wake actually .... looking forward to when they continue that module.
If I were to play player-made modules they have to be focusing on the roleplaying (like Witchs Wake). I get enough of the hack n' slash in the single player campaigns :D

I've been playing a few of the modules available at nwvault, and I mostly delete them after the first few minutes of the game because there wasn't much of a story to it. Although I have found a few so far that I have played completely and still keep them in my computer.

The Paladin series is pretty good module - although there are a lot of tough battles, and that you are restricted to playing a paladin (which didn't bother me much, since I usually play good characters anyway). The story is well writter - which really draws me into the game.

Don't really know when Witch's Wake will be continue, the only thing to do is keep waiting I guess.

RPG: Freedom Force was fun, if short and lacking in much dialogue.
FPS: Tried Call of Duty?

Witches Wake II will have to be payed for on the hopefully soon to come Digital Distribution system by Bioware.

I haven't seen any great roleplaying modules on NWvault, though I haven't yet played Twilight (I hate paladins, so hard to make), is it really that good?

Well, that is really up to your personal taste, so I can't really say whether you would like it or not. Although I have to say that it is a really good mod. The creator added some interesting things to the class, and the story is engaging. But a few people have complained about the amount of difficult battles in the game. Oh, and just a note, the start of the game can be frustrating, consult the walkthrough and continue with the game.

(Resurrecting older thread)

Best new RPG to buy?

In 2003, there have only been a few I've bought (and one FPS), but I've liked them all:

Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind

Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansions for Neverwinter Nights

Temple of Elemental Evil (yes, I actually liked it)

Gothic 2

Sacred (more of an action RPG than true RPG (I understand it's like Diablo, which I never played), but a lot of fun)

Doom 3 (a first person shooter, but one of the coolest games out there)
