i was wondering whether anybody has experienced a glitch where after sending the three adventurers to do the quest, your main character immediately dies?
cause thats happening to me all the time - i thought i'd solve it by doing the quest myself but i kinda keep losing all my characters there so.. i'd prefer to send the adventurers..
does anybody know whats happening/what i'm doing wrong or how to fix it?
Do you have the official patch and the Baldurdash fixpack? Those fix the most common bugs and glitches in the game, although i never heard of this one. If you decide to try it yourself, the shield of cheese (Balduran) and the cloak of cheese (reflection) should do the trick.

Never comes across this one. Several days go past while you're waiting for them to come back; have you got some sort of disease or poison that's killing you in the interim? You could try Remove Curse etc on yourself before sending them off.
While it's a hilarious dialogue when they come back, how could you stand to leave a bunch of elder orbs unmashed???

If you have none of the above cheeses, try Death Ward, Chaotic Command, Protection from Magic Energy, Potions of Invulnerability and all your Spell Turning type stuff. Whirlwind attack is good for taking out those pesky Stoneskins.

unfortunately theres another glitch in my game.. where after fighting melissan for the third time, her character respawns and mine dies? is that normal?
