Just beat the Jail in Chapter 1

Post by Boosted98gsx »

Ok, so i just killed the "brain" creature in chapter 1 and cleared the jail, now i'm working on clearing the penninsula and the "homes" that are there. I came accross this dude with a chest that wont let me in it though. What do i have to do to get access to that chest?

Certain chests are just designed to be unbreakable, for different quests or things. There is the occasional chest, especially in Chapter 1, that cannot be broken with the weapons available to you throughout that chapter (+1 enhancement max in general)

I think you are referring to the dwarf that gives you the Never quest. See the guy in the main temple (in the room to the right of Aribeth as you face the exit to the city center). He will give you the quest that lets you see what is in the chest. Don't skip this quest--you can get some good experience points or some good negative points (evil-alignment options) depending on how you play it.
