Sarevok available at what time?
You will have the possibilty to raise Sarevok at the beginning of ToB. But it is also possible to raise him earlier if you start a brand new game?

That will screw-up the plot pretty bad. Sarevok going one-on-one with Irenicus? I don't think so. Sarevok is in the Add-on section of the game, so you cannot walk around Amn and Alkatla with him. You will be in a brand-new map, and you can't go back to BG2 map.Originally posted by Astafas:

Each of us has a duty to all of us.
Kind of thought so, actually.
I hate to change NPCs late in the game. In BG1 I always started out by using GateKeeper in order to travel around fetching my party members. Yeslick was a toughy to get, what with the 10 day limit and all. Ah, sweet days...

@Astafas, while nobody likes to trade off a character they've developed in mid- or late-game, consider that you're getting equal value if you let one of your melee types go in exchange for Saverok. I'll probably drop Korgan for Saverok in my evil/neutral party, and not make any exchange for my good/neutral party. In either case, you can't lose--provided you survive the anger of an old acquaintance who challenges your revival and acceptance of Saverok.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.
