ToB and Archer Called Shot

Post by Vehemence »

Ok, in SoA, the archer received a called shot like this:

Every 4 levels he gains the ability to make a called shot once per day. When he activates this ability, any shot made within the next 10 seconds is augmented in the following manner (according to the level of the archer):
4th level: -1 to THACO of target
8th level: -1 to save vs magic of target
12th level: -1 to strength of target
16th level: +2 bonus to damage

Since the experience cap in SoA only allowed the archer to reach 17th level, I can understand why they didn't include anything past 16th level.

Now that the Archer can reach 34th level in Tob, does any one know if they have added the corresponding bonuses for 20th, 24th, 28th and 32nd level?

If so, do you know what the bonuses are???

Any body passing through solid matter will leave a perforation conforming to its perimeter. Also called the silhouette of passage, this phenomenon is the speciality of victims of directed-pressure explosions and of reckless cowards who are so eager to escape that they exit directly through the wall of a house, leaving a cookie-cutout-perfect hole. The threat of skunks or matrimony often catalyzes this reaction.

I have no idea!
Centuries ago in England........It was an era of chivalry and magic. The evil Prince John unleashed an iron fist of tyranny upon the people. They called out for a champion.........one man answered that call. His name, was Robin Hood. Fearless in his quest for justice Robin Hood challenged the power of the high warlords. While protecting the helpless and the poor. Willing to face death for what he believed, along with the beautiful, lady warrior, Jaheira, the mighty Minsc, and the wise Keldorn. Robin Hood forged a legend that lives on today in............

Sorry, can't help. I've actually looked through the script file for the Call Shot ability, it only listed up to level 16. On a side note, the abilities seems to be accumulative, so you end up with all four abilities at level 16, haven't played an Archer yet so I don't know if it's true.

Yeah it is a shame that you don't get any cool new features.
Could have been something like what improved Illasera has.
20th: knocks back
24th: miscast magic
28th: save vs spells at -4 penalty or die
32nd: dispel magic
You can't handle the truth!

No the archer doesn't get any new effects in ToB. Similarly, the Bounty Hunter's special snare ability caps out at the Maze target effect.
