A few questions

Post by Birdsfly »

First: how do the Locate key spell effects work? I cant seem to use it correctly!

Second: Are there any such thing in the game as Glass Longbow or Glass Crossbow?

Third: I want to have some strong light armor, and as far as i know, glass is that, but I dont want to use any mods, as my friend calls me a cheater if i do. Where can I steal some, except the Vivec Vaults? (I HATE that city, some god just lost his toys there, and the stupid ppl of Morrowind built a "city" in the cubes!) ;)
Looking for a MOD that don't need any Expanisons, and can run on Morrowind 1.20blahblah without any errors, that lets you play as a Huge(At least a little big) hairy monster! MSG me if you got one!

1: i believe the keys are located on your map when you enter your stat screen

2: not without a mod

3: the tower of dusk at ghostgate.. go in then the stairs down. the first room on your right has a smith with pretty much glass on the shelves/crates, just make sure you have smth like 60+ stealth..

You usualy find them in the ashlands, and if you go to the isle of dagon fel there are many there and sometimes you'll find the odd one in the graze lands but they are more likly to be deadric, :o + the fun in morrowind is the exploration, there is'nt much fun if you can't just randomly explore. :D
And lo ye must learn of the great war that raged fo a couple of posts and brought the citadel momentaraly to its knees

Gods, does your friend even know that there are roughly 4000 mods out there, and that they include include from lengthy quests to adjustments that make the game much harder to play? Tell your friend to go sit on a bound dagger, and check out the mod section of Morrowind Summit. :D Sure, there are some mods that give you weapons or items which are godlike, but those are definitely the very small minority. You're missing out on a lot of good stuff, as you'll find out if you check the Mods thread at the top of the page.

loot dungeons, allthough that doesn't quarantee success..

get azura's star, it's a soul gem that is re-usable.. highlight for vague instructions:

search the east coast of vvardenfell, the lower half of it to be more precise. Then when you see a giant statue of a woman that's azura's statue and the door to her shrine is between the sea and the statue little bit lower than the pedestal of the statue. go inside and "talk" to the statue inside the shrine, not the one outside. She gives you a quest to destroy a bunch of daedroths on an island northwest from the island where dagon fel is. go to the island and kill the golden saint on there. pick up the ring from the corpse of the saint named "Sheogorath's signet ring" and DON'T enter the hut. then get back to to azura's shrine and she will reward you with azura's star, a re-usable soul gem, which is one of the most useful items in the game.l

Its a summon spell in Tel Branora. So then you just need to get enough Conjuration and Magicka to summon it

once you buy the spell you can cast it as many times as you want if you have the magicka, allthough you'd have to be pretty damn good in conjuration and have 165pts of magicka to summon a golden saint for 60 secs as the original spell does, but once you've bought the spell you can enchant a ring or whatever to summon a golden saint for like 30 secs and then kill it

@Gromph: seriously there's nothing tough about golden saints, unless you're a lvl 1 mage butt-naked and without spells..

NO! When i can kill something easily, and get loads of money for it, the thing is funny! Something that will kill me, though, thats not funny!
my god, you must know absolutely nothing about this game!
CORRECT! But I'm learning!
