...Answer

Dueling I'm pretty sure only has to do with melee weapons. Two Weapon Fighting... I don't remember. Just read what the description says for them when you want to choose, and it'll say.
General: "Those aren't ideas; those are special effects."
Michael Bay: "I don't understand the difference."

Blaster rifles? Can't imagine they benefit (or benefit much) from either. Like Chimera says, dueling is melee based as far as I was aware, and two-weapon fighting is for when you have a seperate weapon in either hand.

Just think about it really, with two blaster pistols, or two swords/vibro's/sabers, you actually have to aim, fire, and control each weapon in each hand. That takes some doing. With a blaster rifles, the off-hand is simply allowing you to take a better, steadier aim.

They don't. If you want bonuses, just go with focus/specialization.

blaster rifles are for 2 weapon fighting. dueling is for 1 sword, 1 lightsaber, or 1 blaster pistle. Anything with 1 hand is dueling

Actually, there is no penalty for using a blaster rifle in the first place, so therefore there is nothing for two weapon fighting to reduce. Blaster rifle fighting isn't affected by anything.

I've got a question somewhat related and figured I'd post it here rather than taking up another thread. Anyone know if having Melee weapon proficiencies and Lightsaber proficiencies would make the melee bonuses stack with your Lightsaber bonus or not? It would make sense to me if they did but I'm not sure and unfortunately my game is loaned out to a friend at the moment so, unable to check myself and this thread made me curious.

Please, do use another thread. That's what they're here for. It's much easier to find information on a subject if it can be searched under it's own subject. And it shows a measure of respect for the person who started the thread.

As the question posed here was answered, this thread's closed.
