What level for each class do you think?.
I'm currently Fighter 7 mage 7, thinking about Fighter 8 then mage to the max, what do you think?.

Depends on your forucs.

If you want to do more fighting and casting from scrolls - go higher figther. If you want to rely most on spell casting then higher spellcaster.

It is pretty much purely up to you in terms of what you like to play :)

My original plan was an offensive casting mage with back up fighting skills but as I'm playing I'm relying more on my fighter skills. This may change with higher level spells I guess.
My plan is for a dual wield style mage so I have ambidexterity etc which is working well. Ok, maybe F10, Mage ?.

Well, another way to look at it is simply what you require from your character at that time.

If you're low on HP, take a couple of fighter levels. Want more feats, take some fighter levels. Want better spell-casting and so on, take some more mage levels. :)
