Dwemer Books

Post by Nobleheart »

Hey hey, alright in the dungeon on Mournhold of Bamz-Amschendz there are several Dwemer books. As well there is a set of plans for the airship found crashed on Solstheim. I was just wondering if these books and plans can be given to anyone. Thanks!

Most of them are just cool things to have. Although some of them have uses in the game (won't spoil here, a search on the book title should give you al the info you need in a few seconds)
Mag: Don't remember much at all of last night do you?
Me: put simply.... No :D
Mag: From what I put together of your late night drunken ramblings? Vodka, 3 girls, and then we played tic-tac-toe and slapped each other around.

Well I'm not sure because the titles of the books all have to do with manufacturing of different parts of the airship like piping and so on, as well I found Centurion plans in the area where you find Kagrenac's Journal. I wonder if theres a higher use for these things...

I suspect that at one point the rebuilidng of a flying ship was an intended subplot in the original game. It was probably dropped because of time constraints. A few mods have added floating ships (often to function as player homes), but nothing that moves in realtime and nothing linked to the books in the game.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Keep the Dwemer books in Tribunal for the Trueflame quest.

Trueflame quest? I've acquired Trueflame with no need for the books. I believe Fable is correct that it was taken out due to time constraint. It is an interesting set of books to own though.
