Bastila's fate
What do you think will happen to Bastila in KotOR II? I had a great time with my character developing her tale, rescuing her before the duel with Malak, and, of course, having a romance with her . I was then wandering whether I will see her in episode II. Do any of you guys have info about that? I read that the starting plot will be based on the story chioces you made in episode I, but none ever mentioned Bastila.

The story choices you make will reveal what happened to Bastilla. Obviously, if you redeem her and defeat Malak, you both get killed eventually. If you can't redeem her, obviously you killed her yourself, and there's no further story on her. If you were both dark... well, I assume you both get killed eventually and replaced with Darth Leprosy.

Bastila may be dead.

here copy of text I read.
Malak tortured Bastila, corrupting her will and turning her to the dark side of the Force. The next time Revan encountered Bastila, she was a dark warrior filled with rage. Bastila urged Revan to turn to the dark side, and the decision made by Revan ultimately sealed the fate of Bastila, the Star Forge, and Darth Malak's scourge
I think Bastila is dead. Star Forge is blew up. Must be light side ending had been taken. But what happen to Revan? I am sure that Revan's compaions escape aboard Ebon Hawk.
We'll find out when game is released.

Well I imagine there will be references littered throughout the game, but its kind of difficult to do it - it would require two totally different storylines. Thats why its much easier to have characters like HK, T3, Mission, Canderous, and maybe Carth, because that didn't depend on the ending of the first game.
I mean think about it, if you were light-side, Revan is a republic hero and a leader of their forces, and probably the greatest Jedi knight of the era. Within this ending, you can have it with Bastila being killed on the Star Forge, or Bastila being saved, returned to the light-side and the whole romance between Revan and Bastila.
On the dark-side ending, Revan is once again the Dark Lord of the Sith, commander of the Sith fleet. Hence the new Sith Lords, as you'd need completely different characters depending on if Revan was Sith Lord - easiest way is to kill him off and have new ones. Within the dark-side ending, you can also have Bastila dead on the Star Forge, or joining you as your apprentice something.
So you can't really totally base the game around them, because it would have to change massively to suit the way each player ended the game.
Thats probably why they've chosen a "your one of the last remaining Jedi" situation, because either way, Revan and Bastila are gone. Either they were killed in a republic attack on the Star Forge, or in some other way (dark side), or are among the fallen Jedi that are being persecuted by the Sith (light-side).

Particularly Bastila--classy butt on that one. I can relate.

To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

I played with a Dark Side character in KOTOR II and when I finally went through T3 and got the holo's of Bastilla she was talking about being on Korriban and waiting for Revan's return. Sounding pretty Dark Side to me.. giving me the impression KOTOR I was meant to end with Revan returning to the Darkness and ultimately pursuing whatever layed past the outter rim. Perhaps it was different with LS players as I never got enough influence with T3 on my LS play through to get to the Bastilla holos'.
