My boyfriend is stuck in the planar sphere. He killed Valygar to get in the door, and he started looking around the inside of the sphere and killed everything that was inside, but he can't get in the one door that's to the right of the golem room without a key. He hasn't been able to find the key, and he can't get out. Does anyone know anything that can help? Especially how to get the key...or if there was something he was supposed to do on the outside before going in the sphere that would have helped.

I believe you need to put the golem together to open the door.

The room that looks like it's a clock? Didn't know there was a puzzle in there that needed to be solved. How do you activate the puzzle?

Okay, I have seen the room with the symbols in it by using the power that allows us to see the map areas. THAT'S the room he can't get into because it's telling him he needs a key that he can't find.

hmmmm, to put the golem together first get the arm/legs from the first room on the left of the entrance. I assume you have this already. Then you will need to get the golem head from the room with the giant clock INSIDE THE CLOCK after killing the Golems that guard it. The you will need to go click on the golem making machine to put the golem together...I'm not sure if you have to read the golem making book first found in the desk opposite the golem making machine.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully this will work. I'll be sure to check this out when I get a chance to play again.

A good lesson to your boyfriend.
You can't own everything with killing anything . This is what makes BG2 more than hack'n slash .

My boyfriend has an excuse...He IS playing an evil character, so he has every right to kill everything he can...Even tho I don't agree with it.

I agree with you. Evil isn't about going on murdering sprees. It's about torturing Lawful Good people, and then torturing the paladins that come to save them.
