Amulet of power

I've always read it like you reduce spell casting time by 1 for some reason.
But when you look at it it says (Decreases spell casting "speed" by 1) it makes more sence if it makes spell casting take LONGER time instead.
So wich is it?
Anyone knows ?

Fred, waiting only 2 hours and then complaining that nobody has responded to you isn't going to get much response. Wait a day or more, then come back and see what answers have arrived.

Heh Im new cut me some slack =) I don't know how active this forum is =)
I usualy play Starcraft, and hang around Teamliquid forums etc. Somewhat faster there =/

What i ment was does it Actually reduce the SPEED thus making it SLOWER or is it somekind of typo refering to reducing CASTING TIME.
Reducing casting Time and speed is 2 completely diffrent things i imagine.

Looking at Robe of Vecna it uses the term Casting time instead of speed, wich kind of confuses me.

It's definitely the casting TIME that's reduced by the Amulet of Power. Trust me, the trinket's a best-kept item for ANY spellcaster in this game.

Yeah i always read it that way too, but you must admit if you read it literally it actually says casting time is increased.
However I almost certain you are right in what you say, but its a strange way for them putting it

Ok basicly it goes like this. The fact youy think it aint making much sense is because the lower spellcasting speed the ebtter, tho normally a human mind counts up for getting "better".

Casting time/speed: 7
Having an item wat REDUCES/DECREASES the speed means - and the lower your speed/time the better (casting time 0 with aclarity if im nto msitaking?)

Isn't aclarity just that it removes the time between casting the spells, not the actual casting of it.

. Doenst improve casting speed in a way. It's an uber spell either way
