Hi!
I'd like to know whats HOF and if the items (magical of course) are differents in this version of the game. I'm actually playing the french version of the game and I don't encounter all the items listed in the site.
Can someone help me with this matter please?
thanx

many items from the normal mode have an much better equivalent in the HOF mode
on this site you will find all items the normal and the HOF ones...
just have a look on the name and description of the item and it's easy to see which one is normal and which HOF...
btw. you won't find all items listed cause some of them are random drops !

...if you don't think it's cheesy you can install the BG2 bonus merchant for an excellent off-hand weapon - but you have to pay 100T+ for it
btw. he also offers an similar armor like drakkas for a good price

Or you could just add that sword with DaleKeeper.. and see what other goods they have in this game.. but you dont need to do that..

Question: If I export a character (let's say level 10) with some magical weapons (like the Selunee sword that Emma gives) and items, and then start a game in HOF with him, would I get the same items AGAIN when I loot camps or complete quests, OR different ones or nothing at all. It would be nice to get some weapons twice and a couple more of holding bags no?

Well in HoF You will lose all quest's stuff and containers.. HoF will have better versions of certain items.. but you will have older ones too..

Dunno about HOF, but in the vanilla game it works, you can get the same items twice.
Also, there is a way to get HOF items in the original game - install ease of Use mod's relevant component. (See Useful Links).
Up the IRONS !
