Haer'Dalis Quest - Help

Hi everybody,
I´m new to the forum, and want to congratulate the forum members for the excellent posts (I mean, most of them ...

)
I´m in need of help because I can´t unlock the door in the sewers to the Mekrath Tower.
Any hints?

My guess is you're at the wrong door ... was there a party of adventures demanding money in front of it? If so, it's not the one you want ... head south-west from there and you'll find another door.

Not to spoil anything, but the door you were at before ... just note that you'll find the key to that door while doing a completely unrelated quest ...
